Version 3.0 shows more detailed information about all of the available typefaces. If the file receiver hasn’t installed the related fonts, the fonts can’t be showed correctly. These are the most important font and text related improvements in Mac OS X 10.7: Font Book, the application that is bundled with the operating system to manage fonts, has been enhanced. Please notice the receiver can see the font name in the file even he hasn't installed the fonts, however, in this scenario, the font will not be showed as expected because it is not embed in the file.įor the PowerPoint 2011 for Mac, I also tested it by my side.

You can refer to this UserVoice: Supportįor Embedded fonts. Mac team has added this feature to the plan and will begin to develop it soon. The Office for Windows can support this now (In File>Options>Save>embed fonts in the file) while the Office for Mac can’t do that for the different techniques reason.
